Oracle databases have a lot of spatial capability. We are experts, of course, but even for the beginner the prospect of using spatial capability doesn’t need to be overwhelming as Oracle’s Spatial Studio provides a GUI to upload and analyze data and shapefiles. Data can then be geocoded, and interactive map layers created. Spatial Studio also provides the ability to execute the available spatial algorithms whilst also offering easy entry of parameters and the results of analysis can be ingested by other products – such as Oracle Analytics Cloud for further analysis and data storytelling.
