Our resident Oracle ACE, Mark Daynes, will be presenting two sessions at the UKOUG conference this year. The first session on the 1st December takes a look at the use of some key new aesthetic APEX 20.2 enhancements. These are the new features we are currently integrating into our commercially available products for the benefit of our customers on G-Cloud, but presented here taking a ‘rock-tastic’ approach which we hope you find both entertaining and informative.
The second presentation on the 9th December includes some live elements. Here we show some of the capabilities of Spatial Studio and then take that further by using spatially enriched data with Oracle Analytics Cloud.
The latest version of Oracle APEX (20.2) has new and improved productivity features. In this session we will explore the enhancements to Faceted Search and the new Cards Region via the development of an application to manage a guitar collection. At the end of this session you should have a good appreciation of the new capability and how you can incorporate in your own applications.
Oracle’s databases have sophisticated spatial ability and Oracle’s Spatial Studio has been designed to make spatial analysis more accessible. Oracle Analytics provides an excellent platform to perform visual analysis. Together they can provide a powerful solution for gaining insights into your data. In this session we will show how these tools can collaborate and complement one another and give you the confidence to go and explore your data in ways you may not have considered previously. This session will involve a live demonstration of modeling data in Spatial Studio and ingesting it into Analytics and showing how that can be combined with other data sources to provide enhanced analysis to tell a story.
We hope to see you there!
